Maintenance Maintenance is a service offered and highly recommended to everyone who needs their PC to work as it should.
In accordance with your usage we will advise you to have maintenance every so often. This could be every month, every 3 months, or every 6 months.
Maintenance is carried out via remote suppoome cases the problems could be unable to be solved via remote support, so a call out may be required. However if your computer has an active internet connection we should be able to resolve the problem.
As a guide, an average PC will take between 40 mins to 1 hour to thoroughly check and clean. Sometimes it can take up to 3 hours, but the price will still be the same. If we find any issues that may arise later we will give you clear advice about this. - Comprehensive systems health checks, including:System logs checking (to help ensure developing hardware problems, this may include possible hard drive failing)
- Manual, and in-depth “security compromise” checking and resolution
- Critical operating system updates applied
- Disk cleanup and optimisation
- Other system optimisation (depending on specific usage of PC)
- Addressing any issues or concerns raised by the client
Like every service we offer, there is no minimum term and no contract. The maintenance reminder will come from us in the form of a telephone call (or an email), and the resulting work will be carried out at a time suitable to you.
